Check-in is from 2pm, check-out by 11am — flexible if your flight timing needs it, just message us on WhatsApp. Early arrivals often head straight to Kalamaki Beach, a 6-minute drive, while we get the villa ready.
Is there parking at the villa?
Yes — free private parking is included at both Villa I and Villa II, right on the property, no street parking or extra fees.
How far is the villa from the beach?
About 6 minutes by car to Kalamaki Beach, one of the protected loggerhead turtle nesting beaches inside the National Marine Park of Zakynthos — close enough for a lazy afternoon, but the beach itself stays quiet and undeveloped.
Can we see sea turtles nearby?
Almost certainly, in season. The Archelon Turtle Rescue Centre is a 2-minute drive away, and boat trips to spot loggerheads offshore leave regularly from nearby Laganas.
Is Navagio (Shipwreck Beach) close by?
It's a proper day trip, not a quick stop — about 45–50 minutes' drive to the clifftop viewpoint for the iconic photo overlooking the bay. Well worth it, just plan a full day.
Do you offer daily housekeeping?
Yes, daily cleaning is included at both villas, with fresh towels every day and bedsheets changed every third day.
Is there WiFi and a TV?
Yes to both — free WiFi throughout, and a TV with Netflix in every bedroom at both villas.
Do you charge agency fees?
No — you're booking direct with us, the actual owners, so there's no agency markup. Same trust and support, just no middleman fee added to your rate.
Do you allow pets?
No, pets aren't allowed at either villa.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, a minimum stay of 3 nights.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes — the amount depends on your dates and length of stay, so message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the exact figure for your booking.
What's your cancellation policy?
If a booking is cancelled, the security deposit is retained.
Do you provide a cot or extra bed for young children?
Yes, a cot or extra bed is available for babies and young children on request.
Is the pool fenced?
No, the pool isn't fenced — the villa sits on private grounds, so parents traveling with young children should plan accordingly.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking isn't allowed inside the villa, but it's fine outside on the grounds.
Can we invite outside guests or host a party at the villa?
The villa is a private home for registered guests only — outside visitors and parties aren't permitted. If you're celebrating something like a wedding or a family reunion, though, message us directly and we can discuss it with you.
How does check-in work — do we get keys somehow, or meet someone?
You'll be welcomed and handed the keys in person by us, the owners — not a lockbox or a stranger from an agency.
Do you offer rental cars or airport transfers?
Yes — we work with trusted local partners for both car rental and airport transfers, so you can arrange everything through us instead of hunting around yourself. Just let us know on WhatsApp what you need and we'll set it up.
Can you help organize boat trips?
Yes — we have local partners who can meet whatever you're after, whether it's a bit of adventuring on the water or a more relaxed tour along the coast. Message us your dates and what you have in mind and we'll arrange it.
Do we need a rental car to get around?
It helps, since most of what makes Zakynthos worth exploring (Navagio, the Blue Caves, the wilder beaches) is easiest with a car, and Kalamaki itself is only minutes away for the essentials. We can arrange a rental through our local partner if you'd like — just ask.
When do the sea turtles nest in Zakynthos?
Loggerhead turtles nest along Laganas Bay, including right here at Kalamaki Beach, roughly from mid-May through mid-August, with hatchlings emerging from around mid-July into September. You can visit May through October and have a good chance of seeing turtles, either from a licensed boat trip or, quietly and respectfully, from the beach in the evening.
What are the best beaches near Kalamaki?
Kalamaki Beach itself is one of the protected turtle-nesting beaches, a 6-minute drive from the villas. Laganas Beach is a bit livelier and only 1-3 minutes further. For something quieter, the Vasilikos coves — Gerakas, Porto Roma, and Banana Beach — are about 25-30 minutes south and worth the drive for clearer water and fewer crowds.
